Adult Ministries

Our desire at Hope Community Church is to help adults grow in their faith in the context of significant relationships. To that end we offer a variety of ways to study the Bible and get connected with others through Men of Hope, Women of Hope, Young Adults, Small Groups, Leadership Development and Counseling Ministries (please scroll down for more information about each of these ministries).

Men of Hope

Vision:
Broken people being made whole through Christ.

Mission:
Broken men seeking Christ-like fellowship with other brothers
in faith through true discipleship at home, at work, and in the community.

Imperatives:
Develop a servant’s heart in all we do.
Pursue outreach opportunities to share God’s good news locally and globally.
Seek personal and spiritual growth through leadership opportunities.
Be attentive to God’s calling in our daily lives and interactions.
Be doers of the Word, not merely hearers.

Women of Hope

Women of every season and stage of life, supporting and encouraging each other to love well and be made whole through Christ. Our goal is to create a safe family environment, built on a foundation of love and acceptance. We offer: mentoring, discipling, service opportunities, special events and more.

Young Adults

A place for young adults, ages 18-30, to be accepted into a save and caring community. Our goal is to build friendship with one another while coming to better understand and grow in who God created us to be.

Small Groups

We have been created to live in community and not in isolation. Physically, we do live in a community, but spiritually, socially, and relationally we often live our lives in isolation. We find ourselves with no one to turn to when we have a major issue that has just surfaced in our life. Living in community affords us the opportunity to more wholly experience God through close relationships as we play and pray together, as we encourage and help one another, and as we study and live out God’s word together.

At our church, we believe that life is best done in community…together! So we want to encourage you to get involved with a Small Group. It’s a great way to come along with others on this journey of life and grow in your faith and build relationships. Each group consists of seven to fifteen attendees in various life stages who meet on a regular basis in someone’s home or at church.

Leadership Development

Our focus is to recruit, train and prepare leaders who can step confidently into the next phase of their God-given calling. We incorporate resources such as Equip Leadership Program by John C. Maxwell and the Global Leadership Summit.
